Autumn in Serbia smells like Ajvar. Autumn in Berlin smells like cold rain and the chill is coming up your spine and settling somewhere around your neck for the months to come. Except when mixed partnerships meet mixed food and everyone comes along for a glass of Samovino imported Serbian wine, shot of raki, traditional bread baking and some 100 kg of Serbian bell pepper burning! At the end of the day, the melting pot turns into Ajvar, and there is no fun if you haven´t put your handmade Ajvar in the jar!
